Quality & Compliance
How we vet interpreters, protect confidential information and keep quality high on every assignment.
Interpreter vetting
We review language proficiency, interpreting skills, training and credentials (such as medical or court certifications), professional experience and references before an interpreter joins our network.
Confidentiality & data protection
Every interpreter signs a confidentiality agreement and follows a professional code of ethics covering accuracy, impartiality and confidentiality. Client information and documents are stored securely in encrypted, access-controlled systems, shared only with the assigned interpreter and protected at every step.
HIPAA-compliant practices
We follow HIPAA-compliant practices for protected health information: minimum necessary information, secure communication, HIPAA training and signed confidentiality agreements for every interpreter, and no retention of interpreter notes after assignments. We sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with healthcare clients.
Quality assurance
Assignment briefings, client feedback and direct follow-up help us keep standards high and match the right interpreter to the right setting.
Coverage & continuity
Redundant staffing, contingency planning and phone/video backup so assignments are covered even when plans change.
Insurance
Iflingo carries general liability and professional (errors & omissions) insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
